Music at Aden is very pleased to welcome the return of Aberdeen Sinfonietta musicians Bryan Dargie (Violin), Rachel Mackison (Viola), Alison MacDonald (Cello) and on this occasion a special welcome to Flautist, Margaret Preston. Educated at Aberdeen University where she studied flute with Richard Chester (RSNO), Margaret also studied at Trinity College London where she played in such prestigious venues as the Wigmore Hall and the Purcell Room. Since then Margaret has played through out Scotland as well as Canada, Norway, Belgium and Russia. An active poet and composer as well as musician, Margaret is a valuable polymath contributor to the artistic community of Aberdeen and the North East.
Four of Aberdeen Sinfonietta's principal players join forces in a lively and varied programme for flute and string trio, which includes music by Handel, Mozart, Beethoven and Debussy.
