'We at Music of Aden think this Quintet are offering rather minimalist and modest biographies, perhaps typically of their musical genre. We know Mary to be a talented professional artist and Jazz Vocalist having frequented many Scottish Music Venues. The Mary May Quintet as a whole has received several accolades performing to acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe. The Group has been described as one of the 'best Vocalist-led jazz outfits in Scotland, playing dynamic and original arrangements'. A current tour which includes Aden Theatre demonstrates the breadth of their activity. We look forward enormously to an emotive November afternoon with this engaging group of performers. '
